Little Grips

Have you ever thought your toddler just doesn’t get it when it comes to eating with utensils? Or maybe, like in my case, they just make a huge mess trying to get the spoon to their mouths? Maybe you should give Little Grips a try…
I was given a sample of the product to try out and honestly I was skeptical. I thought for sure it would hurt more to give Hagen a spoon nothing like the one he was not only used to, but that might make him regress by letting him hold it wrong. Well, I was wrong!
I took out the package and was reading it when Hagen saw it. He immediately took it from me and shoved it in my face yelling, “My poon! My poon! O-PAN it!”
Then as we were getting dinner ready, they both started fighting over it. Below is a picture from when Hagen screamed, “Mine!” (The oh so lovely two year old behavior he’s started)
At first, I still wasn’t convinced it would work since he tried to hold it like a regular spoon.
But once he got the hang of it…
… it definitely made a difference while eating soup!
As you can see it’s like 60% less mess with Little Grips!!
Check out the website and maybe give them a try! I can’t wait to use them with Claire!

Nate can use a spoon great by now, but he has one that’s “special” like that. Not with the funny handle, but different than the others (it looks like it has feet on the end.) I am REQUIRED to wash it for him so he can use it at every. single. meal.
And life stops if he looses it.
I’ve seen them recently and was skeptical too. Guess I’m gonna have to try them :)
