I need a usb card reader….
Written by amanda on November 30, 2009 – 8:58 am -I need to find a good usb card reader before I can get pictures up… I hate using the cord and plugging in the camera… I don’t know why it just doesn’t feel right. Since the laptop is broken for the time being (Travis thinks he can fix it), I won’t have new pictures for a few days.
Not to mention the pictures from Thanksgiving aren’t up to par for me. A few Travis took of Warren in the truck will work, but the ones of the puppies were so dark the colors are off and the ones of them playing in the dog cage, while funny, are flashed and odd. (Though, I’ll still post a few of them)

Hagen just keeps getting clearer and clearer in his speech and its really freaking me out. He said he “want that” and pointed to a muffin on the stove, so I gave it to him and he said, “Thanks.” Its mind boggling when your first didn’t speak clearly until after 2. He is also playing with cars with his brother and just said, “want truck?” because Hagen had a van Warren wanted (and also called a truck) so he was helping Warren find a new truck in the pile.

A WHOLE MONTH! I made it a whole month with a post a day. Goal accomplished! Now I just have to clean my house and go grocery shopping… goals which have been avoided for soooome time ;)

This week brings: Boredum. So hopefully I will have some pictures to share later (Probably won’t keep up the daily post thing next month, though I’ll try to post a lot) since there won’t be anything else to do. If I feel better I might try to start making more new recipes and documenting the outcome… maybe ;)

Blog worthy
Written by amanda on November 29, 2009 – 1:11 pm -Hagen, just today, has said, “Go outside.” “All done” “Love mommy” and “sorry”. Sorry came as a surprise…
I was reprimanding both boys for running and slamming their hands onto the screen door to the back porch… I told each of them to stop at least once. Hagen wouldn’t stop so I grabbed him by the arm, made him look at me and said, “Hagen, I told you no.”
He looked right up into my eyes and said, “Sorry.” Perfectly. It was the creepiest thing I’ve ever experienced. Completely surreal the way he said it. I had to ask Travis if I had imagined that he said it, it was that strange sounding. We laughed until we cried while sitting at the kitchen table because of this little kid. What a goofball!!

Filler post
Written by amanda on November 28, 2009 – 5:00 pm -So, we had Thanksgiving at his parents house on Thursday and it was great. We stayed the night and came home yesterday. Today we are all (with the exception of “I never get sick” Travis) sick feeling and tired from colds. I thought Warren was having an allergy attack on Thursday until me and Hagen woke up this morning with it. Now its all runny noses, tissues and sneezing.
Our house is a giant mess and I don’t feel up to cleaning it… of all things Travis felt like cleaning out the freezer this morning LOL. It looks really great though!
They had fun at the Grandparent’s house, Warren got to play in Grandpa’s truck (the BIG kind, he’s a truck driver), he caught his very own fish (reeled it in and threw it back by himself!!) and they got to see three week old puppies. Hagen LOVES puppies by the way.
Speaking of Hagen… and speaking of speaking… He’s turned into a little parrot over the last week and repeats everything he hears. He now uses about 10 more words and repeats way more than that. His favorites: That, down, up, no, don’t, toy, ouch, brush teeth, butt, and a couple more I can’t think of right now.
I’ll be putting up pictures from the trip later, I have to go tend to the Warren.
