Rearranging
Written by amanda on January 2, 2010 – 1:11 pm -Today is going to be spent reorganizing and rearranging our basement…
We’ve finally decided that we shouldn’t have a guest room since only his parents ever use it and we see them maybe every 2 months. They rest of the time that room is completely wasted. We’ve felt crowded and bothered by all the toys under foot while we were out in the open and it just seems best to put the wires and exspensive monitors in a room away from little ones. Only downside is the inability to watch the kids and be on the computer, not a big deal though.
We’re going to get a blow up mattress for his parents to use when they come down (which they are okay with) so all we have to do is sell the box springs (pictured), since its barely a year old, then the chair and desk. He bought himelf a new desk from IKEA on New Year’s day and we’re thinking about getting me a matching one. They were only $50 and are roomy and pretty sturdy. For now I’m keeping what I have…
After we’re all done we will have a spacious basement playroom for the kids that will hopefully stay somewhat clean, or at least won’t have a toy covered floor.
Wish us luck on getting it all down this weekend.
