Should I do it?

That blonde but longer, and bangs later on after the sweaty summer months.
Just length for the summer.

- My boy is three years and a few months old
- He’s potty trained (with few night accidents)
- He can tell his brother when he’s being bad
- He likes to tell us elaborate stories
- He has started telling us “if… then” things: “If you go into that McDonald’s you will die.” **
- He is telling us what stuff “means”: “When you are full it means you get tired.”
- He never runs out of energy.
- He back talks: “You get out of the computer room!” “No! I’m not done yet!” (UHG….)
- He has his good and VERY bad moments.
- He’s excited about the baby sister he has coming.
- He loves to be just like his daddy… still
** So the other day we stopped at McDonald’s for lunch after a tiring morning at an YMCA indoor water park. Warren said, “I want to go into that McDonald’s.” I told him, “We can’t. Mommy is way too tired.” He responds, “But I’m not tired, mommy.” I noticed Hagen had fallen asleep… “Warren, we can’t go in there, Hagen is asleep, Mommy is tired and she might just pass out and die.” He was quiet for a little while then he says, “Mommy, if you go into that McDonald’s you will die.” I laughed and corrected him…
Then we get to the window for our food and she gave me my sweet tea and says, “Your food will be just a second, here is your sweet tea.” Warren yells out, “I need a sweet tea! I’m drinking sweet tea too!” I told him, “You can have some of mine when we get home, we’re sharing.” He gets an attitude and yells, “I’M NOT TALKING TO YOU MOMMY! I’M TALKING TO THAT FRENCH FRY MAKING LADY!!”

Countdown using a list…

I’m having anxiety issues and think that maybe, just maybe, a count down will help. I’ve come up with making a 60 item list of things I want to do before the baby gets here (because she should be here in 60 days or so!!). Some things may be on here more than once for days when I need just a light everyday task, others are the big things I have to have done before she is born… I’ll post an updated strike list once a week or so and I’ll write about what I did that day in my “random things” widget on the left. I won’t do these in this order or anything, this is just a list.
- Make a scrapbook page or two
- Make a bracelet that matches an outfit
- Clean out entrance closet
- Wash all girl’s clothes
- Buy vinyl decals for baby’s room
- Clean windows on 1 floor of the house
- Put away all winter snow attire!!
- Arrange playroom to accommodate the baby.
- Make a scrapbook page or two
- Make a bracelet or two
- Deep clean a bathroom
- Vacuum whole house
- Mop floors
- Make menus for after baby is born
- Wash sheets & blankets
- Organize hall closet
- Declutter master bedroom
- Clean out crawl space of trash part 1
- Box up any boys shoes that don’t fit right now
- Declutter 6+ months of picture backup
- Get out boys summer clothing
- Weed front landscape
- Start bucket garden
- Mop floors
- Clean windows on 1 floor of the house
- Make a bracelet or two
- Declutter computer room
- Get deck chairs/furniture
- Vacuum whole house
- Deep clean a bathroom
- Clean out the van
- Wash sheets and blankets
- Make scrapbook page or two
- Deep clean kitchen (clean out cabinets, vacuum, scrub appliances)
- Get wardrobe from friend
- Finish making pajama pants for the boys
- Finish cleaning out crawl space
- Steam clean carpet
- Declutter 6+ months of picture backup

- Make a few meatloaves to freeze
